We want every learner to be able to use our site and classroom, whatever device or ability they have.
1. Our target
- 1.1We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We design mobile-first, with readable text sizes, strong colour contrast, keyboard-friendly controls and tap targets large enough for touch.
2. What we do
- 2.1Pages use headings, landmarks and labelled form fields. Images carry text alternatives. Pages work without horizontal scrolling on a phone screen.
3. Known limitations
- 3.1We have not yet had a full independent accessibility audit. Some older course documents (PDFs and slides) and third-party videos may lack full text alternatives or captions, and the classroom platform is a third-party product with its own limits. We are improving these over time.
4. Alternative formats and help
- 4.1If you cannot use something, email coreknowledgedigital@gmail.com with the subject "Accessibility", say what you need (for example a text version of a slide deck, captions or a larger-print copy) and we will provide it, normally within five (5) working days.
- 4.2If you are not satisfied with our response, use the Complaints Procedure.
