Terms of service
The agreement between you and CoreKnowledge when you enrol, order or use our learning portal.
1. Who we are
The provider is CoreKnowledge (legal entity name and registration number: to be confirmed), trading as CoreKnowledge, a BQA-accredited training provider (no. 0019). Contact: coreknowledgedigital@gmail.com · WhatsApp +267 76 066 483 · Gaborone, Botswana.
These terms apply to coreknowledge.digital, our order and help pages, and our learning portal at moodle.coreknowledge.co.bw.
2. What we offer
Short courses, CPD and upskilling programmes, delivered self-paced online by default.
- Self-paced online: P2,500 per course per person, unless a course page shows a different price.
- Combo and Bundle packages: several courses for one price. Courses that are not open yet are delivered in stages as they launch.
- Face-to-face and in-house: for groups of 5 or more participants, priced by quote. See the Group & in-house booking terms.
Each course page states the duration, delivery modes, deliverables and certificate.
3. Orders and acceptance
You order by requesting an invoice or a quote on the course page and ticking the acceptance box. A quote is an offer valid for 30 days; an invoice confirms the order.
Your place is confirmed when payment (or approved credit terms for organisations) is confirmed. We may decline an order, for example if details are incomplete; if we do, any payment is refunded in full.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are in Botswana pula (BWP). VAT: to be confirmed. See Payments & invoicing for methods, references and due dates.
5. Accounts and access
Each learner has a personal account. Do not share your login. Access to a self-paced course lasts 12 months from the day it opens unless the course page says otherwise; extensions can be requested.
Organisations nominate learners by uploading a staff list after payment. A seat may be reassigned to a colleague once, before that learner has opened 20% of the course.
6. Your licence to use our materials
We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the course materials for your own learning and work. See Copyright & intellectual property.
7. Certificates
Certificates and transcripts are issued as set out in Certificates & transcripts. A Certificate of Completion confirms completion of a CoreKnowledge course; it is not a qualification awarded by BQA or any other body.
8. Refunds and cancellations
See Refunds & cancellations. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Botswana consumer protection law.
9. Conduct
Learners agree to the Learner code of conduct & academic integrity. We may suspend access for serious or repeated breaches after giving you a chance to respond.
10. Our responsibility
We take reasonable care to keep content accurate and the portal available. Planned maintenance is announced where possible.
We are not responsible for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount paid for it, except where the law does not allow this limit.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. The version you accepted (shown next to the tick box, e.g. v1.0-2026-10-17) applies to your order; material changes apply to new orders only.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Botswana. Please raise any concern through Complaints & feedback first; most issues are resolved within 1 working day.
